Influence of selected conditional factors on performance in white water slalom
Vondra, Jan ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Kratochvíl, Jiří (referee)
Title: Influence of selected conditional factors on performance in white water slalom. Aims: The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship of selected specific movement abilities being examined modified test battery with the performance of athletes in the water slalom. Methods: It was used field measurements where the applied modified test battery. Using GPS module to determine the distance partial tests from batery. For measuring was used manual measurement. To determine the statistical correlation between the modified battery and performance ability of competitors was used two different coefficients of correlation and regression analysis. According to the order of the test and the race was used nonparametric correlation study - Spearman correlation coefficient. Determining the statistical significance of the relationship of measured times in tests and final time in the nomination races have used the Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: For a statistically significant relationship was determined value when r ≥ 0.8. Spearman's correlation coefficient: In the test at 40 m were obtained these correlation coefficients: Nomination races rs = 0,380952, Czech cup rs = 0,595238. In the test at 80 meters they were obtained these correlation coefficients: nomination races rs = 0,857143,...
Endurance and strength - speed determinants of kickboxing performance
Cvingerová, Tereza ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Stich, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Endurance and strength-speed determinants of kickboxing performance Objectives: The aim of the work is based on current scientific knowledge to define some of the conditioning determinants influencing sports performance in kickboxing and thus determine the profile of the elite kickboxer. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted using the Google Scholar, ScienceDirekt, Web of Science and ResearchGate databases. The work included studies and literature in the field of general sports training and martial arts, especially kickboxing, which evaluated the somatic and conditioning factors of sports performance. Results: A total of 37 studies dealing with the above-mentioned issues in kickboxing or similar combat sports were used. Based on the literature search, somatic factors, endurance, force and speed factors were defined and described. The average amount of body fat of kickboxers was found (8.1-12.4 %), as well as the fact that kickboxers have predominantly mesomorphic features of the somatotype. VO2max of elite kickboxers is in the range of 47.65-62.7 ml∙kg-1 ∙min-1 and anaerobic capacity in the range of 6.1-10 W∙kg-1 for lower limbs and 3.6-6.1 W∙kg-1 for upper limbs. The hand grip force of the dominant hand is 51.4-55.6 kg and of the non- dominant hand 48.7-54.7 kg. The height...
Athletic preparation for karate - kumite training
Babor, Marek ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Stich, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Athletic preparation for karate - kumite training Objectives: The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to prepare, describe and evaluate specific exercises which arise from combining fitness and coordination factors of kumite with essential athletic movement elements for the use in kumite training. The subgoal is to compose a list of terms, facts and context necessary for reaching the main aim. Methods: Historical method was used to explain the evolution of karate and athletics sport disciplines. Individual movement abilities, sports equipment and exercises are presented descriptively . Compilation of "specific" excercises is a result of analytical-synthetic method. By connecting athletic exercises with essential kumite exercises a synthetic of both was born as an effective tool for increasing sports performance. Results: Basic athletic movement skills were used for training of movement abilities using described factors and their importance for athlete's performance, of which most applied to original exercises was run, which improves speed development and strength of lower limbs. Other athletic's elements in special exercises are jumps, that strengthen the explosive power of lower limbs. Such exercises are significant for development of coordination factors like sequence of movements, reactions...
Structure of sports performance in tennis singles
Plachá, Kristýna ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Dovalil, Josef (referee)
Title of the bachelor's thesis: Structure of the sports performance in tennis singles Aim of the bachelor's thesis: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design a model of the structure of the sports performance in tennis singles to demonstrate the importance of particular factors, their inner structure and their mutual relations. Methods used in the bachelor's thesis: This bachelor's thesis has a theoretical character and it is based on domestic and foreign literature review. There was applied the method of content analysis of documents along with genearal research method, analysis - synthesis and inductive - deductive approach. Achieved results: The result represents a designed model of the structure of sports performance in tennis singles. Mutual relations among particular factors are implied in the model. Key words: Sports performance, somatic factors, conditioning, coordination abilities, technique, tactics, psychological factors
